This is a story of three brothers; my older brother, Paul, my younger brother, Jim, and myself (Frank). It is a true story, and it shows how interest in the quality homes built by Pringle Development affected them in recent years.
We were born and raised in one of the boroughs of New York City. Paul obtained his college degree in electrical engineering. He and his family moved to a small town in New Jersey, close to the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, where he was involved with the construction and the renovation of submarines.
After high school, Jim decided to attend an out-of-state college and obtained his degree in architecture. He eventually formed his own architectural firm while living in the New York City area.
Upon completing high school, I chose to attend a local college and graduate school nearby. I was employed as a high school teacher in the New York City public school system for a total of 30 years, following my father’s teaching career in the same school.
When Paul reached retirement age, he and his wife began exploring Central Florida for a retirement home. After looking over many developments during 1991, they decided to purchase a lot in one of the Pringle Developments.
When I reached retirement age, my wife and I also decided to look for a home in Florida. We checked out many developments and eventually visited the same Pringle development where Paul had decided to build. We found that a Pringle home was more appealing to us, so we purchased a lot in the same community as Paul. They moved into their home in March 1992, and we moved into ours in August of the same year.
A few months ago, Jim was ready to retire. Ready to leave city living, he also looked to relocate to the Central Florida area. As a retiring architect, Jim was impressed with the design and the construction of the Pringle homes. Recently, he purchased a Pringle home and is now settling into the same community as Paul and myself. Along with the three of us, two other immediate family members have purchased in a Pringle community, building a total of 6 Pringle homes.
All three brothers started out together in the same place, then went our separate ways over the years, and now have reunited to enjoy each other’s company by living in a Pringle community.
