frequently asked questions we here from folks who are not familiar with
Central Florida is: Why would someone who is thinking of moving to
Florida want to consider living in Lake County?

Florida has to offer, the facts and information that follow should help

total 1162 square miles that make up Lake County. Many of these lakes
are part of the Ocklawaha chain of lakes, allowing boaters to travel
from Lake Griffin to the St. John's River and eventually to the Atlantic
Ocean. They provide many excellent opportunities for boating and fishing
activities.
