One of the benefits of building a Pringle home is the freedom they offer to customize the design during the planning stages. For Art and Joan Mangolas, that option wasn't necessary.

When they visited the Legacy of Leesburg community about two years ago, they enjoyed the tour of the Devonshire model home so much, they bought it the same day! Furniture, flooring, window treatments, everything in place and ready to go. They simply added some of their own pieces of furniture to complete a beautifully decorated home. Then, with the help of their eight year old Peek-A-Poo, Molly, they dove right into becoming very active, permanent residents.

City Airport Rededicated

A man and his vision were honored Tuesday at a dedication ceremony at Leesburg Regional Airport. The city paid tribute to Henry Pringle and the Pringle family, long-time residents of Leesburg, by renaming the airport to reflect Pringle's role in shaping the community.

Bagpipes - Pringle's favorite instrument - sounded as about 50 people, including many city and county officials, joined in the event to celebrate the man behind the airport.

It doesn’t happen very often, but every now and then we have the pleasure of interviewing some Pringle residents who have decided to move “North” to become Central Floridians.

Al and Nancy Pita moved to Royal Highlands from the southernmost part of the United States. They were both born and raised in Key West, and lived there until they discovered the benefits of living here in Central Florida. As Key West became more built up and attracted tourists, it also became more crowded and very expensive. After spending time on vacations in Central Florida, Nancy and Al found that real estate prices were very reasonable and that it was much less crowded than Key West.
