February Poll Results

With the long, cold winter nipping at your heels it seems as if the response to our poll question last month was a resounding yes - most of you are planning to move to a warmer climate soon!

The poll question was "Will this year's very cold winter affect your plans to move to a warm weather state like Florida?"

73% of people responded yes, 17% said no and 10% said maybe.

So, if we can assist you in any way with questions about our communities of the Florida Lifestyle in general, please let us know.

By the way, it has been a very mild winter for us here in Central Florida and I have worn a light jacket for several weeks but that was about it. We are already moving into Spring now and it is a beautiful time of the year.

Hope to hear from you soon...

In our last issue, we answered questions about living in and around Lake County. But many of you have also been asking for specifics with regard to what makes a Pringle Community different from others in the area.

Those Who've Come Before You

Some Retirement Dreams Really Do Come True

We've never done a survey, but it would be interesting to find out how many people actually see their retirement dreams come true. With a mission statement that focuses on "fulfilling retirement dreams", the folks at Pringle Development are always happy to hear stories like that of Ken and Karole Secora - two of our newest neighbors at Royal Harbor.

Ken and Karole lived in a very rural part of southern Wisconsin, where their closest neighbors were quite some distance away. They were born and raised just west of Milwaukee, near Genesee Depot in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Ken was employed as a Production Supervisor for RTE/Cooper Power Systems in Waukesha, WI for 15 years. He also operated an office cleaning business, and for the last 11 years before arriving in Florida, he worked for a local school district in maintenance and as a day substitute.

Pisces Rising Fresh Florida Seafood & Steakhouse

"Pisces Rising-Fresh Florida Seafood and Steakhouse" is a new restaurant with an innovative menu, interesting architecture, and a great view of Lake Dora.

The restaurant is located in a corner building that was originally a private residence that was completed in 1920. The open porch was enclosed and the outside deck was added in 1999, so it is actually a building within a building.
