Expressing Yourself in a Pringle Communtiy

Back to Articles

There are many ways by which people can express themselves – authors use words, artists use oil, watercolor, pencil or clay, athletes compete with each other. The ability to express oneself is put aside many times because of the pressures put upon us during our working years. “Putting food on the table” becomes the priority, and most of our time is devoted towards that goal.

For example, there are photography clubs and several painting classes. Under the guidance of a trained teacher, you can use oils, watercolors, or pencil to express yourself on canvas.

To keep yourself physically fit, there are many sporting activities such as bowling, aerobics, pickle ball, softball, baseball, bocce ball, etc., and each community has a fitness center with equipment for those who enjoy working out. The chess clubs, computer clubs and libraries are designed to keep the brain in working order, so that residents are both physically and mentally active.

Retirement also gives you the time to get together with others to have fun, and all of the activities in each Pringle community do just that. There are several card groups, such as bridge, hand & foot, poker or pinochle. Ladies Day Out, Dinner and a Movie, Early Birds Dining Group, pot-luck dinners, and pancake breakfasts can be followed by Walk Away the Pounds and Weight Watchers. Friday social hour, line dancing, garden clubs, Tea Society, or volunteering in the Activities Office are all great opportunities to have fun, socialize with others, and keep active.

Every Pringle community has or will have a long list of activities to keep their residents active. Legacy of Leesburg has over 60 various activities at last count, and as Lakes of Mount Dora and The Heritage continue to develop, there will be just as many in those communities to support Pringle’s theme of building an “Active Adult Community”.

Why not “express yourself” by taking the first step in considering a Pringle home in Central Florida for your retirement? Check out their website at www.pringle.com or better yet, “come on down” and see for yourself what Pringle Development is doing to make living in Central Florida so enjoyable.
