Those Who've Come Before You...Pringle Development Residents
Chuck and Oneta Lippert

Before Chuck and Oneta Lippert decided to build in Legacy of Leesburg, they spent many months searching along the east and south coasts. They sold their home in Virginia, stored their furniture, and drove south along the east coast in their search. When they visited friends in Florida, they were introduced to a Pringle community, but they continued on with their search as they drove along the southern coast to Texas. At that point, they decided that the best option was to return to Florida and build their home in a Pringle community.

Chuck was born in Helena, Montana and Oneta was born in Thacker, West Virginia. They met while Chuck was stationed at Camp LeJeune. Chuck worked in the U.S. Marine Corps in Signals Intelligence/Ground Electronic Warfare and after serving in this capacity for 23 years, he worked as a Defense Contractor providing Defense Intelligence work.

After raising their three children, Oneta worked for 5 years as a Department Manager for Elder-Beerman Department Store in Ohio. Following that position, she was employed by Freddie Mac as a Risk Management Analyst dealing with banks and mortgage companies.

When Chuck and Oneta arrived in Florida for the first time while traveling, they were impressed with the nature theme and the overall layout of Legacy. They discovered that Pringle Development builds a custom home, allowing for changes in the design phase of building. The walking trails, the location near shopping and the list of year-round activities are what convinced them to build their home in Legacy.

They have enjoyed their Scrasborough model home in Legacy for over two years now, and also enjoy an active lifestyle by walking, swimming, jogging and playing bocce. Chuck enjoys golf, pickle ball and an occasional evening of cards, while Oneta likes yoga and shopping.

The Lippert's have found that Legacy of Leesburg is a small, friendly community that provides all of the requirements that they were looking for in their long search for the right community in which to build.
