One of the many reasons we enjoy living in Central Florida is that there is a plethora of restaurants available to us.
On a WARM February evening (over 70 degrees), my spouse and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Jeffrey Paul’s Chophouse located in Eustis. This restaurant, which opened on Friday, the 13th of May, 2005, has quickly established itself as a special place to enjoy not only excellent food, but beautiful presentation and attentive service. The ambiance of a relaxed atmosphere, candle-lit tables and soft music from a digitized piano added to the ambiance.
All beef is aged Angus beef and the restaurant offers an extensive wine list, as well as beer and full bar service and the quality of the food is superb. Their signature dish is a 4-course Chateaubriand and lobster tails for two, including Bananas Foster flambé for dessert.
Jeffrey Paul is the sole proprietor, and his three sons and other family members are employed here as well. He has over 35 years of culinary experience in the hotel and restaurant business and is well recognized in fine dining. In LAKE MAGAZINE, Lake County’s local publication, Jeffrey Paul’s Chophouse was voted #1 in several categories in the “Dining Out” section and they were awarded the “Beautification Award” by the Eustis Chamber of Commerce.
Jeffrey Paul’s opens at 5PM Tuesday through Sunday, and reservations are recommended. They are located on South Bay Street (Route 19) in Eustis.
