Rolling Out The Red Carpet...In More Ways Than One

Back to Articles

What do we mean when we say that visitors to a Pringle community receive the “Red Carpet Treatment”?

According to one source (Marvin Terban, “Dictionary of Idioms”, 1996), rolling out the red carpet originated from the ancient custom of putting down a red carpet, over which important dignitaries would walk when they arrived. This was an honor bestowed on kings and other members or royalty, to avoid having their feet touch the ground like mere mortals.

At Pringle Development, providing “Red Carpet Treatment” is a matter of hospitality and respect. It actually begins the moment you contact the Customer Information Center with questions about a Pringle home or community. It continues all the way through to our sales, design and construction staff.

At every point of contact, our goal is to be courteous and helpful. We are here to help you gather the information you need to begin planning your retirement. The fact that you’ve received this issue of DreamScapes indicates that you have already made contact with Pringle Development. You may have responded to an ad, or perhaps you were referred by a friend. But, whether you realize it or not, our special treatment has already begun.

Eventually, after reading some literature and weighing your options, you may decide to come down and visit one of our communities. That’s the time when most folks really begin to understand what we mean by “Red Carpet Treatment”.

That’s when we have an opportunity to show you what southern hospitality is all about. We truly do look forward to meeting you face-to-face, and we do all that we can to make you feel right at home. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a friendly receptionist who will introduce you to one of our on-staff sales consultants. He or she will give you all the time you need to ask questions and explore the community. You can visit some furnished models, and if you’d like, they can even help you speak with some current residents.

If you’re planning a trip to Florida anytime soon, you may want to ask about our Life Style Preview Program. When available, you can stay in one of our guest homes for two nights, for a nominal fee. During your stay, you’ll be introduced to a resident single or couple, and you’ll be given an opportunity to join them for dinner. The residents you meet will be able to tell you first-hand what it’s like to live in a Pringle community, and they’ll answer any questions you might have about Central Florida. But the best part is, that you’ll feel completely at ease, because there is never any pressure from anyone to purchase anything. So, if you enjoy golf, you might want to look into Royal Highlands, which features an excellent 18 hole golf course. If you would prefer to live near a beautiful chain of freshwater lakes, Royal Harbor is located directly on Lake Harris. And Legacy of Leesburg is a community that is surrounded by nature preserves with hiking and biking trails, and a very modern, multi-activity Recreation Center. We know from speaking with current residents, that all of our Pringle communities offer something special to different kinds of people. Our hope is, that you will eventually allow us to roll out the “Red Carpet” for you. As one of our veteran staff members recently said, “We know how important this decision is. So we do everything we can to provide the retirement lifestyle of your dreams”.
