Leesburg continues to grow with the announcement of Legacy of the Lakes, a new retail shopping complex inside the main entrance to Legacy of Leesburg. .
Florida Design Professionals, Inc., the designers of the property, and Whitman Construction and Development will have their corporate offices on the top floor of this Mediterranean style complex. As of this writing, the developers have 80% committed space (corporate, real estate and insurance offices) with one 4,200 sq. ft. space still available. Phase I is scheduled to be completed Spring 2008.
Looking ahead, Phase II will have retail space for possibly a restaurant, salon/spa or medical offices; final Phase III site will be along the Palatlakaha River.
