A few years ago, we had the opportunity to taste a variety of Italian dishes when we visited various parts of Italy, including pizza in Naples, where pizza is said to have originated.
Now that we have tasted these dishes in the country of their origin, we can appreciate fine Italian food here in Central Florida. There are a number of fine restaurants that we feel measure up to “the real thing”...one of these local restaurants is Angelo’s Ristorante Italiano.
Angelo Manco, who came from Naples, Italy, opened the restaurant six years ago along with his wife, Julie. It has become a favorite dining spot in Central Florida and known for the wide variety of authentic Italian specialties.
Angelo’s has an extensive menu with just about any Italian dish available. There are wide variety of sandwiches, calzones and pizza made with fresh dough daily. The restaurant will also accept take-out orders or cater a party either inside or outside the restaurant. For those who have room for desserts, the Tiramisu is wonderful!
