Just what does “active lifestyle” mean? Well, in a few words, it means opportunities for social and recreational activities. And that’s what Pringle Development has been doing in Central Florida by offering to build your dream home in a Pringle Lifestyle community. You will have an opportunity to make new friends, join a variety of clubs and participate in activities that will fulfill your retirement dreams.
For example, in Highland Lakes, over 450 residents participated in 31 different events during the Senior Olympics that were held recently, with more than 140 winners of various awards. On any Sunday afternoon, you may find as many as 30 Highland Lakes’ residents getting ready to jump in the pool for a game of water volleyball.
There are many opportunities for residents to use their previous interests and hobbies to form new clubs in their “new lifestyle community”. For instance, Giles Snyder of Legacy of Leesburg is attempting to locate certified divers to organize trips to local sites, as well as to dive sites outside of Central Florida. He is also interested in forming a Kayak\Canoe Club. Legacy residents, Ron and Marion LaPierre are working on forming a New Englanders Club and Monika Gee is forming a “Meet Your Neighbors” group.
If you find a club (see the list below) that sounds interesting, join it! If you have an interest and there is no club, start one!
