There are many attractions for both residents and visitors in Central Florida, but one of the “secret attractions” is Uncle Donald’s Farm, located in Lady Lake.
Since 1980, this 50 acre farm has provided hands-on experiences for visitors, especially small children, who delight in petting and feeding the many animals at the farm. Kids of all ages enjoy the informative and entertaining country encounter every Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM until 4 PM (Sunday hours are seasonal).

The petting area includes such animals as rabbits, turkeys, geese, cows, pigs, goats and horses. In the “Poultry Patch”, there are ducks, chickens and pheasants, many of which can be fed by visitors. Pony rides for the kids are available, and the admission includes an old-fashioned hayride to see llamas, ostriches and feed the cows. Uncle Donald’s Farm is also a Wildlife Rehabilitation Station with over twenty species of native Florida wildlife.
For a fun-filled and informative experience, especially with grandchildren, Uncle Donald’s Farm is a “must-see” in Central Florida.
