 A few months ago, Cupcake Delights opened their doors on 5th Avenue in Mount Dora to the “delight” of everyone with a sweet tooth.
The bakery offers about 30 different cupcake flavors overall – rotating about 12-14 flavors each day. On weekends, there may be as many as 20 flavor selections. “A base high-quality cake mixture is used and all of the icings are made from scratch,” said owner Judy Owens.
Judy reports that Carrot Cake and Red Velvet flavors are very popular as well as Kahlua, Cookies and Cream and Chocolate Chip cookie dough. The bakery is the largest cupcake supplier in the Orlando area.
Cupcakes from Cupcake Delights are available for weddings, birthday parties or any large group gathering. The bakery also serves Barneys Coffee. Walk-in customers may enjoy a cup of coffee along with their special “delight” selection, or take their treat across the street and enjoy the ambience of the downtown park.
