Tuesday June 24th we went to Lakeside Inn in
Mt. Dora. 35 of our great residents enjoyed a wonderful dinner and time
of fellowship.
Prime Rib, Georgia Chicken and Grouper were
the Early Bird special. Many remarked how wonderful the food was. The
Lakeside Inn is always a nice getaway due to the great candle light
setting and you can take a walk down to the lake from the restaurant and
enjoy the sites.
Burt Reynolds always stays at Lakeside Inn
when shooting a film. We missed him this time but maybe we will get to
see him in the future.
Lakeside Inn now has Champagne boat trips
around the lake with music to enjoy while you are out on the lake.
This is also a great place for your guests
to stay over night when visiting. There are many sights, shops and
restaurants in Mt. Dora for everyone to enjoy. Trolley car trips and
train rides to Orlando from Lakeside Inn are also available.
Thanks to everyone who made the Early Bird
