National Quality Award Visit

Recently, The Pringle Companies was pleasantly surprised to learn we had been selected for an on-site visit by a panel of national quality judges representing the best in the housing industry.

We were one of only seven companies selected for this honor nationwide. We were very proud to be one of these seven!

The visit went very well and we believe we have an organization that is continuously learning and improving with quality employees building superior homes for our customers.

Also, we excel in after the sale service, stay in contact with customers via a website with construction pictures and cover our workmanship and materials with an excellent warranty.

We feel like we already offer top quality products and excellent service but there is always room for improvement…

We plan to continue to push for this extra improvement so we can be here another 20 + years serving your housing needs.

If you have feedback for us about our service or quality, please let us know so we can continue to improve our business.

Thank you,
Scott Mills

Red Carpet Treatment:The Construction Phase

"At Pringle, we want to help the buyer through the entire building process."

In previous issues of Dreamscapes, we have described how different departments of Pringle Development have provided the "Red Carpet Treatment." We focused in on both the salespeople and the Design Center, along with the Quality Assurance Dept., all of whom work together to insure the best product and service to the interested buyer.

For those who decide to build a home in a Pringle Development, the close contact between builder and buyer continues. When a signed Notice To Proceed (NTP) is completed, it goes to the Accounting Dept. in order to set the wheels in motion for the financial end of the agreement. The notice is then sent to the Construction Dept., which begins two main functions; the Coordinator applies for a permit with the Building Dept., and the Estimating Dept. "builds" the house on paper, establishing blueprints and preparing purchase orders to obtain material needed for the custom home. Once the permit is issued, a basic survey is completed, ensuring that the home will be placed properly on the lot.

Pickleball at Legacy

Three Sports in One!

Most people are familiar with tennis, ping-pong and badminton, but how many of us are familiar with a sport that combines various aspects of these three sports into what has become known as pickleball? Several Legacy residents have incorporated this game into the many activities that take place in the community.

This mini-tennis game was created during the summer of 1965 in Bainbridge Island near Seattle. The original purpose of the game was to provide a sport for the entire family, according to its co-inventors U.S. Congressman Joel Pritchard, William Bell and Barney McCallum. When the game was first played, the family dog named Pickles would chase after the errant balls and hide in the bushes. Pickle's ball was eventually shortened to pickleball. The game became popular since it could be played on any hard surface in backyards, driveways, or dead-end streets.

”A Tip Of The Hat" To Two of Royal Highland’s Newest Residents

The minute Frank and Gloria Koepp passed through the entrance at Royal Highlands, they experienced a certain warmth. And no, it wasn’t heat from Florida’s sun; it was the overall appearance of the community that made them feel as though they had arrived at their new home.

The Koepps have been residents in the community for only about 7 months, but they have already made many friends. They have found their new neighbors to be very warm and friendly.

You'll Find Everything Under One Roof at International Super Buffet

"What's for dinner?" Sound familiar? I think most of us have heard that question over the years.

A new eating place in Leesburg may help answer that very question. The International Super Buffet has been open for about a year and has been a welcomed addition to the neighborhood. This large, brightly lit restaurant seats more than 300 people. There is also a private banquet room which accommodates over 100 people and it may be used by large groups at no extra cost. Nine large buffet tables feature over 300 items and a special "Mongolian Bar," where a chef prepares your choice of items to your liking. Everything appeared very fresh, and all of the items were labeled and neatly presented. There is also a menu with individually priced items if one does not care to partake of the buffet.
