Grand Opening Celebration: Pringle 's New Home!

Back to Articles

It was a cloudy Thursday, and an afternoon shower seemed evident, but the weather did not dampen the excitement on July 14, 2005. It was the official ribbon-cutting ceremony of Pringle Development's new headquarters located at 2801 S. Bay St. in Eustis. More than 120 guests had an opportunity to tour the new offices, conference rooms, display areas, and other facilities that will help in the smooth operations of the company.

The ceremony took place at the entrance to the building. Alan Parrow, President of Pringle Development, and Jim Deitch, Director of Design and Construction, expressed appreciation for all the cooperation that went into completing the building, which was a branch of Colonial Bank before being purchased by Pringle. John Pringle, CEO, and his father, George, were present, and John reflected on the many years of successfully building custom homes in Florida.

When it came time to "cut the ribbon,"Alan Parrow, John Pringle and Evelyn Smith, who represented the City of Eustis, were "all smiles"as the ribbon dropped across the entrance. They were flanked by several Pringle staff members who helped to make this day become a reality.

The 22,000 square foot building houses many key of Pringle Development's key functions. The departments include the Design Center, which has several displays of tile, cabinetry, lighting, fixtures, etc.; the Accounting Department, a Communications Center; the Drafting Department; the Quality Assurance Department, which works with our vendors to monitor the quality of materials; Marketing; Customer Care, which maintains close communication with those building a Pringle home; the Warranty Department; and many other areas that insure that the needs of the purchaser are met during all phases of building their home.

The new facilities will allow closer communication between builder and purchaser, beginning with the purchase of a lot and continuing well into the time when the buyer moves into their custom-designed home and becomes a member of a Pringle community.
