It has been said that the best way to start your day is with a good breakfast...and is even better with friends and neighbors.
In most of the Pringle communities, a “special group of volunteers” serve a terrific Pancake breakfast each month, at a very reasonable charge, as a way to raise money for their community. These monthly events have become a great way to “get your engine going” and socialize with your neighbors. In some of the communities, the profits each month are distributed to a different club sponsoring the breakfast for their club activities; while others accumulate money for projects benefiting the whole community.
Pancake Breakfasts will return this month at Royal Highlands and next month at Royal Harbor after a summer hiatus. This activity kicks off the Fall Activity season, welcoming back seasonal residents, anxious to reunite with their friends and neighbors and get back into the swing of the busy winter social calendar.
Highland Lakes and Legacy of Leesburg continue their monthly breakfasts throughout the year. Some of the groups have been able to give back to the community with their charitable donations. (See High Hopes of Highland Lakes article.)
Everyone benefits from these events. Those that attend end up with a good hearty breakfast shared with friends and neighbors...ah, life’s good!
