Calling all resident actors and actresses and wanna-be actors and actresses…community theatre is definitely “live” and flourishing in two Pringle communities, Legacy of Leesburg and Royal Harbor.
Both of the community groups, Theatre Legacy and Lighthouse Players, have approximately 20 residents interested in performing on stage or assisting behind the scenes…some with acting experience, others just enjoy being a part of live theatre.

Theatre Legacy, under the direction of resident Rod Ross, past performances include a Veterans Show, Breakfast with Santa, An Enchanted Evening, and recently, A Funny Thing Happened. They are currently rehearsing Rome Is Where the Heart is for a September 15th performance at Highland Lakes Community Monthly Celebration. (Highland Lakes is another Pringle community located not far from Legacy.)
The Lighthouse Players past performances include The Gin Game and recently The Cemetery Club, which was Tom Pisarski’s directorial debut. Their next production will be It’s A Wonder Life…A Radio Play scheduled for this December.
Both Rod Ross and Tom Pisarski bring years of live theatre experience to their groups.
These theatre groups are one of the many activities that are run by the residents for the benefit and enjoyment of the residents. It also gives any aspiring actors/actresses a chance to “do their stuff” on a live stage before their neighbors.
