Pringle
Development, a developer of Active Adult Communities in Lake County has
won the 2003 NRSSM
Award in Homeowner SatisfactionSM
– Excellence In Class. The award, which recognizes Pringle as ranked 2nd
nationwide in Homeowner Satisfaction among production builders of
100-499 homes annually, is based on surveys of the customers of over 200
builders across the country. Madison, Wisconsin based NRS Corporation,
the homeowner satisfaction research provider for the National
Association of Home Builders (NAHB) announced the award on September 23
at the 2003 BENCHMARK Conference in New Orleans. BENCHMARK is the
premiere conference for the homebuilding industry.
“We are honored and gratified that our
efforts to achieve excellence in Customer Satisfaction have been
recognized by the Homebuilding Industry and more importantly, by our own
customers”, said Alan Parrow, Director of Marketing, Sales & Design for
Pringle. “We are particularly pleased with the results on
recommendations and referrals” he added, noting that 89.3% of Pringle’s
customers surveyed indicated that they would recommend the builder to
friends or family and an average of 4.26 referrals per customer were
actually received from those who closed sales in the prior year.
Three of the top five distinctions that set
Pringle apart from the other homebuilders involved the warranty process.
The study noted that Pringle immediately followed up on customer’s
requests for warranty service, began the warranty work in a timely
manner and completed it quickly as well. Pringle also got high marks for
their superintendent’s explanations of the building process to customers
and the grading and drainage work performed within their communities.
According to Parrow, details from the study including in depth profiles
of the winners will be published in the next issue of Professional
Builder magazine.
Pringle is currently developing three Active
Adult Communities in Lake County: Royal Highlands on U.S. 27 midway
between Clermont and Leesburg, Royal Harbor on the shore of Little Lake
Harris in Tavares and Legacy of Leesburg also on U.S. 27.
