October Poll Results

Your responses to the question “What is your home construction preference?” was overwhelming. 80% of you indicated a strong preference for concrete block and stucco-like homes, 10% preferred Wood Frame and Vinyl siding and 10% preferred Wood Frame and other siding.

At Pringle, we offer the first two home construction types currently, which appears to cover about 90% of your preferences. The majority of homes we sell are the concrete block and stucco-like variety too so our expertise is aligned with your interests too.

These polls are very helpful to us by providing quick feedback from you on issues we face every day. We appreciate your continued support of these polls and encourage you to continue expressing your preferences in this manner.

Vacation Critters Sitters Club

A Pet-Friendly, Community Program

Travel plans for pet owners must always include the decision to either take their pets along on vacation or leave them with dependable people who will see to their needs.

To meet this need, one of the newer clubs at Legacy of Leesburg comes to the aid of both pets and pet owners. The Vacation Critter Sitters Club has the sole purpose of allowing residents to “get away from home” with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that their pets will be well cared for. In addition, club members will also check on another member’s home while they are traveling. They will even pick up the mail and newspapers if desired.

Those Who've Come Before You

Reaping the Rewards of Retirement...

For Rosemary and Clark Kaskie of Royal Highlands, life has become an interesting numbers game.

This is illustrated by the fact that before arriving in Florida, Clark had lived in eight states, and Rosemary had lived in seven. Clark is the father of 3 boys and 2 girls, and Rosemary is the mother of 5 boys and 5 girls. When Clark and Rosemary married in Cleveland in 1996, all 15 children were in attendance. Then, last February, all of Rosemary’s 10 children surprised her by visiting them in their new home in Royal Highlands for her birthday.

The Culinary Couple

We found ourselves saying “Oui, Oui, Oui”, all the way home!

Nestled away in a quiet corner in nearby Clermont is a quaint building which houses the Mulberry Inn. This structure dates back to 1890 and was probably someone’s private home in the earlier part of the 1900s. It is located only a short distance from Lake Mineola and most likely had a sweeping view of the surrounding landscape and lake in its heyday.

The Mulberry Inn has been a bed and breakfast for the last several years. Fabienne and Frederic Le Pape bought the home about one year ago. The Le Papes, who came from Paris, remodeled it, and continue to operate the B&B. They also created “Bistro Safran” - a cozy, upscale, gourmet restaurant that encompasses a few small rooms and a wrap-around, enclosed porch area.
