Midtown Grille

Back to Articles

The Midtown Grille, aptly named because of it’s location in midtown Leesburg, opened its doors this summer at 114 South 5th Street.

New owner, Suzanne Holmes, completely revamped her new quarters, which previously had been occupied by another restaurant, enlarging the space to accommodate 20’-30’ ceilings. It is now a beautifully decorated, full-service restaurant with both a bar area and lounge section with a wooden dance floor. There is also an outdoor covered dining area. The main dining area has a combination of booths and tables with high half-walls to provide privacy. The high ceilings in wood grain meld well with the metallic sculptured wall decorations and the various shades of brown, gold and taupe throughout the restaurant.

Serving both lunch and dinner, the restaurant opens daily at 11 AM. Two of the menu favorites are the Grilled Salmon filet in a bourbon marinade sauce, as well as the Midtown Chicken Salad which is a grilled chicken breast served on a bed of crisp Romaine, tossed in vinaigrette, with feta cheese, tomatoes, onions and salsa.

Other menu items include prime rib (USDA Angus beef), pasta dishes, baby back ribs, fresh catch, and seafood along with after dinner tempting desserts. Meats and produce are delivered fresh daily and the Chef prepares everything from scratch.

The Midtown Grille has attracted many diners in a short time. Suzanne previously owned Sinfully Sweets & Treats Café so her reputation for serving fine food was well known. With the expanded new venue, she has been able to offer live entertainment which is establishing a nice local nightlife in downtown Leesburg.
